Hawaii Air Conditioning has just completed the replacement of two 20 year old air conditioning systems at our home. The owner, Dale Harrington, personally reviewed the systems and proposed several options. We chose high efficiency systems that made maximum use of ductwork and coolant lines, minimizing disruption to the home and additional costs. Dale recommended a painter and electrician and coordinated their work to completion. Their office also found and assisted in finding energy efficiency rebates that reduced the cost of the system by over 20%. As part-time Hawaii residents, we trusted Dale & the team to complete work while we were off-island, and could not be more pleased with the job and the excellent effort on our installation. We just had a new Fujitsu ductless air conditioner installed on July 15, 2016. Everything was great! The cost was almost half of the other quotes we received from other companies. The installation guys showed up first thing in the morning and had the house cooling off by the time my daughter had to be put down for her nap. At 2500 feet elevation in north Kona there are many times during the year when it gets cold enough for us to need heat in our home. After the original installation of our heating system we had continued situations requiring ongoing service and maintenance. We just couldn’t find anyone who knew how to maintain the heating system for us and finally a service company ended up breaking it completely. Luckily I found Hawaii Air Conditioning. I had problems immediately upon installation of some very beautiful but improperly installed gas burning stoves. After many visits by the “licensed installer” and unanswered complaints to the retailer, Dale Harrington of Hawaii Air Conditioning was referred to me. He simply did not give up until all stoves were working perfectly and cleanly. He was covered head to toe with soot (on multiple occasions as he received the necessary parts) and worked way beyond the norm with a dedicated attitude. Even my 76 year-old mother who was visiting at the time, could not stop talking about what a hard working nice guy he was. Dale even established on his own initiative an annual checkup visit to keep the stoves safe and burning efficiently. I recommend him every time I have a chance!

After 16 years using our wood burning fireplace, we finally decided to buy a gas fireplace.
