I met Dale Harrington of "Hawaii Air Conditioning" when I was contracted to build their home at Puu Lani Ranch. Since I have gotten to know him as an air conditioning and fireplace specialist, I have used him on several of my jobs and I've been impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. At 2500 feet elevation in north Kona there are many times during the year when it gets cold enough for us to need heat in our home. After the original installation of our heating system we had continued situations requiring ongoing service and maintenance. We just couldn't find anyone who knew how to maintain the heating system for us and finally a service company ended up breaking it completely. Luckily I found Hawaii Air Conditioning. I am so grateful that there is someone who knows how to install and maintain heating systems of all kinds in our area. They responded to my request quickly, were very dependable and their service has been excellent. I've already referred them to one of my friends and will continue to recommend them.

I had problems immediately upon installation of some very beautiful but
improperly installed gas burning stoves. After many visits by the "licensed
installer" and unanswered complaints to the retailer, Dale Harrington
of Hawaii Air Conditioning was referred to me. He simply did not give
up until all stoves were working perfectly and cleanly. He was covered
head to toe with soot (on multiple occasions as he received the necessary
parts) and worked way beyond the norm with a dedicated attitude. Even
my 76 year-old mother who was visiting at the time, could not stop
talking about what a hard working nice guy he was. Dale even established
on his own initiative an annual checkup visit to keep the stoves safe
and burning efficiently. I recommend him every time I have a chance!

I can't say enough about how pleased we are with Dale, Ed and the crew. They are professionals and truly care about the safety of their clients. After 16 years using our wood burning fireplace, we finally decided
to buy a gas fireplace. We were a little leery about having it installed
because our past experience had been we'd call someone to service our
fireplace and either they wouldn't call back or they would schedule an
appointment and not show up. Not so with Hawaii Air Conditioning. They
came highly recommended and now I know why. They showed up on time, answered
their phone and returned all of our phone calls. Parts had to be ordered

I had looked around for someone to install a radiant heat system in my
new home but here on the Big Island no one was familiar with how the
system worked. Luckily I found out my neighbor had used Hawaii Air
Conditioning to install his so I checked out his system and it was
